EIU FABLAB
I worked as a technical specialist at the EIU FabLab.
A fab lab (fabrication laboratory) is a small-scale workshop offering digital fabrication.
The EIU FabLab is equipped with an array of flexible computer-controlled tools that cover several different length scales and various materials, with the aim to make "almost anything". This includes technology-enabled products generally perceived as limited to mass production.
I was responsible for the 3d printing section in the lab, operate and maintain them. Also many other activities, building projects...
What I have done here
Me hosting STEM classes for kids
I made multiple videos to advertise STEM courses and the Fablab
Me explaining what Fablab is to Business students
I manage the 3D print-scan section.
Responsible for maintaining, running and troubleshooting them
I also did some laser cutting
Again, I can't show the good-looking ones, these are just minor parts of what i have done with FabLab
